How we ranked the webinar platforms
The ranking is for marketing, sales, and customer education teams that run webinars for outside audiences every month. We weighed five things, in this order:
- The webinar workflow: registration pages, reminders, replays, and attendee data in one place.
- The attendee experience, starting with whether people can join from a browser on any device.
- Room to grow: audience size, several hosts, integrations, and security certification.
- Published pricing and contract terms: what a team pays and how easy it is to leave.
- Review ratings on G2 and Capterra, compared like for like, and awards from the same program and period.
Prices and features come from each vendor's own pages, checked on 2026-10-15. Where a vendor doesn't publish a figure, we say so.

The 7 best webinar software platforms, ranked
Livestorm
Best for recurring marketing webinars in the browserLivestorm puts registration pages, reminder emails, the live room, replays, and attendance data in one tool that hosts and attendees open in a browser on any device. Sessions take up to 3,000 people, and any number of hosts can share an account. It is hosted in the EU and holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. You pay per attendee from yearly credit packs, with a free plan to try it. Its main drawback is the contract: plans are annual only, renew unless you give 90 days' notice, and unused credits expire.

What is the best webinar software?+
For marketing teams running webinars every month, we rank Livestorm first: a browser room on any device, built-in registration, reminders, and replays, and room for several hosts. WebinarGeek is the pick for a flat monthly price, BigMarker for very large or evergreen events, and Zoom Webinars for teams that already pay for Zoom.
Which webinar software doesn't require a download?+
Livestorm, WebinarGeek, Demio, BigMarker, and ON24 run in the browser. GoTo Webinar and Zoom Webinars work in a browser on computers, but GoTo opens its app on phones and Zoom recommends its app.
Is there free webinar software?+
Livestorm has a free plan with 30 attendee credits a year and 30-minute events, meant for trying it out. None of the others here has a free webinar plan: GoTo Webinar offers a 30-day trial and Demio and WebinarGeek 14-day trials, all without a card, and Zoom's free plan can't host webinars.
