Why buyers look past ON24
ON24 is an enterprise platform, owned by Cvent since April 2026, and most of its reviewers are satisfied: it rates 4.3 on G2 from 1,222 reviews. The complaints in its 50 most recent G2 reviews cluster around three things. The first is a back end that feels dated and takes time to learn:
“Some of the navigation and design options feel rigid and dated.”Verified User, ON24 review on G2, September 2026
“The back end is confusing, and we've had presenters refuse to use the platform because it's too hard for them to get into.”Loriann F., ON24 review on G2, March 2026
The second is limited customization of pages and branding, and the third is integrations that are hard to set up, on top of a sales process and contract that some find heavy:
“Improving the reporting experience and making integrations easier to configure would further enhance the overall user experience.”Dhaval M., ON24 review on G2, June 2026
“Their contract negotiations are terrible, and the customer service is lackluster.”Loriann F., ON24 review on G2, March 2026
When you read ON24's ratings, note that 46 of those 50 reviews came through seller or G2 invitations, and only 4 were organic.
