Both are European, browser-based webinar platforms with registration pages, reminders, polls, Q&A with upvotes, and replays. WebinarGeek charges a flat monthly or yearly price set by how many viewers can join, with unlimited webinars. Livestorm sells yearly packs of attendee credits.
Pick WebinarGeek if you run webinars every week or two, want monthly billing, or need sessions longer than 4 hours; it is cheaper for regular programs, and its reviews are stronger. Pick Livestorm if several teams host at once, you need ISO 27001 certification or SAML single sign-on, you want phone dial-in, or you run a few large events a year rather than many small ones.

What Livestorm and WebinarGeek cost in practice
WebinarGeek sells one self-serve plan, Premium, with 8-hour sessions, automated webinars, and one user. It runs from €59 a month billed yearly, or €99 month to month, for 75 viewers, up to €239 billed yearly for 1,000. WebinarGeek no longer lists its cheaper Basic plan. Enterprise starts at €349 a month for 500 viewers and is yearly only. Visitors in American time zones see a separate US price list, starting at $59 a month billed yearly.
Livestorm counts attendance instead. Two webinars a month with 100 attendees each use about 2,400 credits a year, which needs the 2,500-credit pack at $6,500; WebinarGeek's Premium 125 plan covers the same program for a fraction of that. The order flips for occasional large events: one 2,000-person session fits Livestorm's 2,500 pack, while WebinarGeek would need its Enterprise 2,000 plan at €649 a month billed yearly.
Livestorm includes unlimited team members and lets them run events at the same time. WebinarGeek includes one user on Premium, charges €10 a month (billed yearly) for each extra user, and needs a separate user for every webinar running at the same time.
Livestorm vs WebinarGeek contracts
WebinarGeek's pricing page says you can cancel anytime, and monthly plans make that real. Under its terms, a contract with no stated term counts as one year that renews automatically, cancelling doesn't refund what you already paid, and prices can rise each year by 5% or by Dutch inflation, which isn't grounds to terminate.
Livestorm's terms are stricter: 12-month plans only, 90 days' notice before each renewal, a 7% yearly price adjustment by default, and no refunds for unused credits. Our guide to cancelling Livestorm covers the steps.
Livestorm vs WebinarGeek security and data protection
Both keep data in Europe. Livestorm is hosted on AWS in Ireland and holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, with SAML single sign-on as an add-on. WebinarGeek hosts on DigitalOcean in Amsterdam and AWS in Frankfurt, supports Google or Microsoft login with two-step verification, and publishes no ISO 27001, SOC 2, or SAML SSO. If your security team asks for a certificate, Livestorm has one to send.
