Disclosure: this site reviews Livestorm and earns a commission if you sign up for it through our links. Livestorm is one option below, and we say where it isn't the right fix.
GoTo Webinar is the long-established option: published prices from $59 a month, monthly billing, CRM integrations on every plan, and a strong security record. It charges per organizer, so one host running large webinars pays less than on Livestorm. Livestorm runs in the browser on every device, keeps sessions interactive up to 3,000 attendees, includes replays and branding in its first paid pack, and lets any number of hosts run events at once. It also rates higher with reviewers.
Pick GoTo Webinar if one person runs your webinars, you want monthly billing, or you need its training tools. Pick Livestorm if several people host, your audience joins from phones, or you want interactive sessions above 1,000 people without a custom contract.

How Livestorm and GoTo Webinar charge
GoTo Webinar sells one organizer license per host. Reach costs $59 a month billed yearly, or $69 month to month, for sessions of up to 500 attendees. Elevate costs $103 a month billed yearly, or $129 monthly, for up to 1,000, and adds cloud recording, branding, breakout rooms, and transcripts. Attendance doesn't change the price, but each organizer can run only one webinar at a time, so parallel sessions need more licenses.
Livestorm sells attendance instead: yearly packs from 400 credits for $1,200, with unlimited hosts and events. For a single host with steady audiences, GoTo Webinar costs less; Elevate's yearly price is about what Livestorm charges for 412 attendee credits. Livestorm gets closer for teams where several people host, and it puts recordings and branding in its first paid pack, where GoTo Webinar keeps them for Elevate.
How attendees join Livestorm and GoTo Webinar, and how big sessions get
Livestorm runs in the browser for hosts and attendees, on computers and phones, with phone dial-in as a backup. GoTo Webinar now recommends browser join on computers, but only in Chrome or Edge for standard sessions, and on phones standard events open in the GoTo app. Hosts can run GoTo Webinar from a browser too, though local recording needs its desktop app.
GoTo Webinar's interactive events cap at 1,000 attendees. Its 3,000 figure applies to the quote-only Complete plan in webcast mode, where attendees listen without being able to unmute, and anyone over a plan's cap is turned away. Livestorm allows 3,000 live attendees per session on every Pro pack, though each one uses a credit.
Livestorm vs GoTo Webinar contracts and company
Both renew automatically and neither refunds early exits. GoTo Webinar offers monthly billing and needs 30 days' notice before a set-term contract renews; Livestorm is yearly only and needs 90 days.
GoTo, formerly LogMeIn, is a private company owned by Francisco Partners and Elliott Management, with about $1 billion in yearly revenue. Webinars are a secondary product next to its phone and IT support tools, though its release notes show steady updates through August 2026. In January 2023 GoTo disclosed that attackers took encrypted backups from a cloud storage service it shared with LastPass; the products it named didn't include GoTo Webinar.
What reviewers say about Livestorm and GoTo Webinar
Livestorm rates higher on both big platforms: 4.4 against 4.2 on G2 and 4.7 against 4.5 on Capterra. Recent reviews point the same way. G2 reviews labeled organic from the 12 months to September 30, 2026 average 4.2 for Livestorm (39 reviews) and 2.8 for GoTo Webinar (8 reviews). GoTo Webinar's reviewers most often mention glitches, price, attendees having trouble joining, support, and an interface that feels dated. On Trustpilot, both score poorly with unprompted reviewers, and GoTo Webinar's page covers all of GoTo, so we don't compare them.
