Livestorm integrations: HubSpot, Salesforce, and what syncs on each plan

Disclosure: this site reviews Livestorm and earns a commission if you sign up for it through our links. Every plan limit below comes from Livestorm's own pages, and we say where they disagree.

Livestorm's HubSpot and Pipedrive integrations work on every plan. Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot, and Microsoft Dynamics need the Enterprise plan and, per the help center, a paid add-on on top. Zapier, Make, webhooks, and a REST API cover the rest, and a newer MCP server connects AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. Every native CRM sync sends data from Livestorm to the CRM, and none of them back-fills events that ran before you connected it.

How the Livestorm HubSpot integration works

Once an admin connects HubSpot, Livestorm creates a HubSpot marketing event for each new session and a contact for each new registrant, matched on email so existing contacts are updated rather than duplicated. Each contact's timeline then logs five activities: registered, attended live, did not attend, watched the recording, and watched on demand. The live-attendance entry includes the attendance rate and duration and the number of questions, chat messages, and polls that person took part in.

Data reaches HubSpot when someone registers, when a session they registered for ends, and when they watch a replay or an on-demand event. The default mapping covers registration fields only: name, email, company, job title, address, phone, website, and social profiles. Attendance and engagement figures, such as attendance rate or questions asked, go to HubSpot once you map them to a property yourself, and each HubSpot property can take only one Livestorm attribute. UTM source, medium, campaign, term, and content can map to custom properties you create. Livestorm only writes to a property while it is empty, so it never overwrites data already in HubSpot. Each workspace connects to one HubSpot account, events created before you connect have to be switched on one by one, and nothing from before the connection is synced. People can also register from a HubSpot form through a workflow action, which needs a HubSpot Professional or Enterprise plan.

If you still run the older “HubSpot (legacy)” integration, Livestorm has extended its migration deadline to November 30, 2026 for every plan. After that date it moves remaining accounts to the new version itself, and there is no way back. The new version no longer creates HubSpot deals, so a team that relied on them needs a HubSpot workflow triggered on registration (Livestorm offers a template through its account managers). Workflows and lists built on the old timeline events should match both the old and new event names, which the help center suggests joining with OR.

How to connect Livestorm to HubSpot

  1. In HubSpot, a Super Admin (or a user with App Marketplace Access) opens the Livestorm Webinars app, clicks Manage, and turns on every permission under “Conditionally required” on the Data Permissions tab. If any is off, the connection fails, even for a Super Admin.
  2. In Livestorm, a workspace owner or admin opens the App Marketplace, finds the HubSpot card, clicks “Enable for all team members”, and approves access.
  3. Check the four sync rules, all on by default: timeline events, a marketing event for each new session, a contact for each unknown registrant, and a company for each new company a registrant enters (for work email addresses, HubSpot fills in the company from the domain instead). You can turn off contact creation so that only existing contacts are updated.
  4. Register a test address on a test event, run the session for at least a minute, and check the contact's timeline a few minutes after it ends.

If nothing shows up, the help center points to two usual causes: the integration is off for that event (it sits under Apps in the event's settings), or the HubSpot timeline filter hides Livestorm activity, which you fix by selecting Livestorm under Integrations in the “Filter by” menu.

Livestorm's Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo, and Dynamics integrations

Salesforce connects to Sales Cloud (not Marketing Cloud). Each new session gets its own campaign, each registrant becomes a campaign member, created as a Lead by default or as a Contact, and their status changes to Attended or Did not attend when the session ends, with attendance and engagement counts in mapped fields. Setting a campaign member's Livestorm Status to “To Register” registers them from the Salesforce side. It can't link a session to a campaign you already have.

Pardot (Salesforce Account Engagement) runs through Connected Campaigns and a partner marketplace, and it accepts registrations from your own Pardot forms. Marketo maps each Livestorm event to an existing program by hand; by default it sends only first name, last name, and email, and it has no status for watching the replay of a live event. Microsoft Dynamics is set up by Livestorm's team, syncs one way, and matches records on first name, last name, and email rather than email alone.

Zapier, webhooks, the API, and AI tools in Livestorm

Zapier lists seven Livestorm triggers, including new registrant, session started and ended, registrant attended, didn't attend, and watched the replay, and ten actions such as creating events and registering people. Google Sheets connects the same way:Livestorm's marketplace lists it as a Zapier-built integration in which a new spreadsheet row can register someone, which lets you import a list of registrants from a sheet. Make offers a similar set. The native webhooks app sends registrations and event start and end to your own endpoint, and webhooks created through the API cover ten event types, are signed, and retry up to five times.

The REST API is open to every plan, but Livestorm's support team has to enable it for your workspace. By default it allows 10,000 calls per 30 days and 5 requests per second, with extra call bundles sold as add-ons, although the Enterprise page advertises unlimited calls. The MCP server builds on the same API so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other assistants can read events and engagement data and register attendees; the pricing page includes it on Pro and Enterprise.

What every Livestorm CRM sync has in common

  • Data flows from Livestorm into the CRM. Registering people from the CRM side works for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pardot, and Marketo through forms or workflows.
  • Nothing is back-filled: only activity after you connect the integration is sent.
  • Contacts are matched on email, except Dynamics, which also matches names.
  • HubSpot only fills empty properties, while Brevo and Pipedrive overwrite filled ones with the mapped values.
  • CRMs get engagement counts, such as polls answered and questions asked, not the poll answers.
  • The help center says each sync can take a few minutes to show up.

What reviewers say about Livestorm's integrations

Reviewers who use the HubSpot sync mostly like that leads arrive without CSV exports:

“Livestorm’s attendee registration and participation data syncs straight to HubSpot, so I don’t have to manually input info, which saves a ton of time on follow-ups.”Gonzalez D., G2, February 2026
“The hubspot integration makes it easy to connect all the leads in sync from Livestorm to Hubspot.”Andreas S., G2, August 2026

The criticism is about range and detail:

“Expanding native integrations with a wider range of third-party CRM and marketing automation tools would make data syncing even more seamless for us.”Anthony D., G2, August 2026
“Also the integration with Hubspot isn't very great as the tool find it hard to separate the lead source and just groups it to offline resources.”Raquel S., G2, February 2024

How Livestorm's integrations compare

Below Enterprise, Livestorm covers HubSpot and Pipedrive natively. That is more than Demio, which keeps its CRM integrations for Premium, and WebinarGeek, which sells HubSpot or Salesforce as an add-on. It is less than Zoom Webinars and GoTo Webinar, which list Marketo, Pardot, and Eloqua, and Zoom also Salesforce, on every plan. If your team runs on Salesforce or Marketo and doesn't want an Enterprise contract, weigh that before you buy.

Livestorm integrations FAQ

Does Livestorm integrate with HubSpot on every plan?+

Yes. Livestorm's help center says the HubSpot integration is available on every plan, Free included, and neither the pricing page nor the integrations marketplace puts a plan limit on it. It creates HubSpot contacts and marketing events and logs registration, attendance, replay, and on-demand views on each contact's timeline.

How do I connect Livestorm to HubSpot?+

A HubSpot Super Admin first turns on every "Conditionally required" data permission for the Livestorm Webinars app in HubSpot's App Marketplace; without them the connection fails. Then a Livestorm admin opens the App Marketplace in the Livestorm workspace and clicks "Enable for all team members" on the HubSpot card. New events have the integration on by default, while events created earlier have to be switched on one at a time.

When does Livestorm send data to HubSpot?+

At three moments: when someone registers, when a session they registered for ends, and when they watch a replay or an on-demand event. Livestorm's help center says each update can take a few minutes to appear on the contact.

Which Livestorm plan includes Salesforce?+

Enterprise. The marketplace labels Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot, and Microsoft Dynamics "Enterprise plan only", and the help center adds that they are paid add-ons (Marketo needs an Integrations pack). Livestorm doesn't publish the add-on prices.

Does Livestorm sync past webinars to my CRM?+

No. The HubSpot, Salesforce, Pardot, and Marketo integrations only send activity that happens after you turn them on. For older events, export the data from Livestorm and import it.

Does Livestorm send poll answers to the CRM?+

Not according to its help center. The HubSpot timeline gets the number of polls a contact answered, and the Salesforce mapping offers the same count, but no CRM article lists the answers themselves.

Does Livestorm work with Zapier and have an API?+

Yes. Zapier offers seven Livestorm triggers, such as a new registrant or a registrant who attended, and ten actions. The REST API is available on every plan once Livestorm's support team switches it on for your workspace, with 10,000 calls per 30 days by default.

Does Livestorm integrate with Google Sheets?+

Yes, through Zapier. Livestorm's marketplace lists Google Sheets as an integration built by Zapier, where a new row in a sheet can create a registrant, so you can register a whole list of people from a spreadsheet. It also offers triggers for new spreadsheets and new registrants, and actions to find a session or create a worksheet.
