Why buyers look past GoTo Webinar
GoTo Webinar has a large, mostly satisfied review base, at 4.5 on Capterra from 2,073 reviews. Recent reviews are cooler: the 8 organic G2 reviews from the 12 months to September 30, 2026 average 2.8. The complaints that come up most are about joining and glitches:
“We often have issues with people joining and not being able to see what we are sharing.”Lauren M., GoTo Webinar review on G2, March 2026
“The pricing may be steep for smaller users, and attendees are occasionally required to download an app in order to join.”Tilak M., GoTo Webinar review on G2, December 2025
Then price per organizer, slow development, and support:
“The cost is expensive per user and there was a real lack of new functionality.”Jess S., GoTo Webinar review on G2, January 2026
“Customer support is impossible to reach and is completely outsourced.”Forrester S., GoTo Webinar review on G2, October 2025
A dated interface is the other common thread. On Trustpilot, GoTo scores 1.9 from 220 unprompted reviews, but that page covers all of GoTo's products.
